HTC took everyone with surprise with the launch of HTC One M9 plus for the Indian market, which is the upgraded version of its flagship smartphone M9 showcased in MWC 2015. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 52,500 and will be available in India from May 3.
The HTC One M9+
The smartphone features the same unibody metal design of M9 and combines it with a 5.2 inch 2K display which delivers a pixel density of 534ppi. The smartphone also has Fingerprint authentication system integrated in the home button just like Samsung and Apple smartphones. Moreover the smartphone integrates HTC’s audio technology BoomSound with the Dolby Audio surround sound.
The smartphone also brings back the HTC’s Duo Camera, which was previously seen in HTC One M8. It is a 20 MP auto focus shooter, equipped with Sapphire cover lens that protects it from scratches. The front of the smartphone is equipped with the HTC’s Ultra-pixel camera with a BSI sensor.
HTC One M9 is backed by MediaTek’s Helio X10, Octa-Core (8 x 2.2 GHz) processor and 3 GB of RAM. There is 32 GB in-built storage, which is expandable up-to 128 GB. The smartphone comes loaded with HTC Sense 7 running onthe latest Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Besides this the smartphone will come with one-year insurance package that will compensate consumers for any accidental or liquid damages. Applicable from the date of purchase, this package also includes a pick-up and drop service for all insurance related matters. To add on to this, users of theOne M9+ can also avail the discount vouchers worth INR 15,000 from the reputed fashion and lifestyle portal Myntra.com.
HTC One M9+ will be available in Gold on Silver and Gold on Gold with all major retailers from early May.

HTC One E9+
The company also unveiled One E9+, which boasts a 5.5 inch 2K display, a 20 MP rear camera, capable to shoot 4K videos and the same Ultra-pixel camera on front. The smartphone is also powered by Mediatek’s Helio X10 Octa-core (8 x 2.0 GHz) chipset and 3 GB RAM for multitasking.
The dual- SIM smartphone comes with 16GB on-board storage, which is expandable up to 128 GB via micro SD card slot (Storage cards not included). It will be available in Meteor Grey, Gold Sopia and Rose Gold with all major retailers from the second half of May. However, its pricing is not yet revealed.
Both the smartphones are compatible with MHL 2.0.

HTC Desire 326 G
Besides these, the Taiwanese tech giant also showcased the affordable Desire 326 G dual-SIM smartphone. It has a 4.5 inch screen, an 8 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera with BSI sensor. The budget smartphone comes with 1 GB Ram and 8 GB in-built memory that can be expanded up-to 32 GB via micro SD card. It will be available in White Birch and Black Onyx with all major retailers from the second half of May.
