The Problem: The lead conversion ratio of the bank’s sales team stood at a mere 10%, and the turn- around-time for lead fulfilment was a whopping 10-12 days. The sales staff had to visit their designated branches every day to download leads assigned to them, as well as to create new leads into the system, and update the action taken by them. There were also delays in servicing the hot leads, which were assigned to sales officers as they would download leads only once a day. This led to business loss. Plus, there was no tracking of how many sales calls were being made by sales officers because the sales management process was not completely structured.

The Solution: A mobile application named “Speed” was developed and implemented to manage leads, activities, calendar, tasks, and even onboarding. It showed the daily/monthly sales reports, product and process updates, and even provided cross-sell functionality. Alerts were generated when new leads were received, and the app was integrated with bank’s internal CRM for real time synchronization of lead details.

The Result: All the sales activities are now recorded in the system in a structured form. Supervisors have better control on sales staff as they can access their subordinates’ calendar and daily sales reports from their tablets.
