Also, there were no proper communication channels and isolation of departments/work. Also, communicating with customers was a hassle because sending bulk emails could only be done as a batch process, and there was a need for real-time communication to be enabled.
The Solution: Newgen's Resumepedia solution consolidated its Business Process ManagementTool(OmniFlow) and Enterprise Content management(OmniDocs) to provide a comprehensive solution. For resume writing process, the details of a customer and attributes of their resumes are automatically extracted by Newgen's solution. For creation of cover letters, the software also filters out the requisite data from document and inserts initiates it in the cover letter writing process. The solution also provides enhanced analytics and pattern recognition to improve the infographics of resumes generated.
The Result: Info Edge was able to have transparency and accountability in the processes mentioned by the introduction of Newgen's workflow process system. The new solution introduced a unified interface which helped Info Edge users to verify basic details of the candidates and also raise multiple requests simulatenously. There was a drastic reduction in turn-around time for customer requests.
