New Update

HP continues its winning streak into the eighth year running. Epson again comes out at number two, Canon slips one place from number three to number four, while Wipro moves up from four to three. Lexmark fails to make it to the list.

HP built up a huge lead in all the four regions, while the bulk of Epson's support came from the South. Again, Epson got a higher percentage of its votes from non-metros. The inkjet market has clearly evolved into two segments based on price. The lower price conscious end has already become a commodity market and the prices have reached rock bottom. It remains to be seen what the vendors can do to create more excitement here.
