Innovation Unleashed at CES 2024

At the next Consumer Electronics Show 2024 (CES), Infinix promises to showcase two new technologies: AirCharge and Extreme-Temp Battery. AirCharge technology from Infinix is a novel wireless charging method that allows users to charge their smart devices wirelessly without wires or touching the charging pad. It operates at low frequencies and can charge wirelessly over distances of up to 20 cm and angle deviations of up to 60 degrees. The Chinese electronic brand's Extreme-Temp Battery blends biomimetic electrolyte and fusion solid-state technology on the electrodes to work in frigid settings. It is reported to work at temperatures as low as 40 degrees Celsius.

Infinix's innovative AirCharge and Extreme-Temp Battery technologies will be introduced

According to a press release, Infinix's innovative AirCharge and Extreme-Temp Battery technologies will be introduced during the ShowStoppers event during CES 2024. According to the company, the AirCharge technology is a breakthrough in wireless charging. It claims to charge smart gadgets without cords or physically contacting the charging pad by utilising multi-coil magnetic resonance technology and an adaptive algorithm. This feature would charge smartphones while playing mobile games or viewing videos.

The AirCharge technology works even when the transmit and receiving coils are slanted at an angle of up to 60 degrees and allows charging at a distance of 0 to 20 cm. It runs at less than 6.78MHz and has a charging power of up to 7.5W. It has an end-to-end Resonance and Voltage Protection (OVP) circuit for safety.

Infinix's Extreme-Temp Battery technology

Furthermore, Infinix's Extreme-Temp Battery technology promises to overcome lithium-ion freezing concerns in extreme cold and hot circumstances. According to the business, the electrodes have biomimetic electrolyte and fusion solid-state technology, which allows the battery to work well even at temperatures as low as 40 degrees Celsius. The Extreme-Temp Battery is supposed to work even in the most authoritarian frigid settings, with a charging temperature range of 100 degrees Celsius (-40°C-60°C).

The annual consumer technology exhibition will be hosted in Las Vegas in the second week of January. In addition to Infinix, numerous electronics companies, including Intel and Asus, will showcase their latest technologies during the event.
