Instagram Repost Feature: Directly post reels and stories now

As a well-known platform for sharing photos and videos, Instagram has begun testing the new Instagram Repost Feature. TechCrunch has received confirmation from the Meta-backed picture and video sharing platform that this new feature would enable reposting other users' material on their timelines.

Earlier, the researcher provided a few images of the functionality.

Twitter, which offers the ability to "Retweet," has made the repost feature more well known. Instagram users may repost or share posts by adding them to their Stories, but this option has a 24-hour expiration date. The new functionality will provide users with a straightforward method to republish another user's message in their feeds. This will also stop people from reposting Stories using external applications.
