Intel Arc Pro A60 and Pro A60M: GPUs Announced by Intel

The new graphics processing units (GPUs) from the Intel® ArcTM Pro A-series professional range include the Pro A60 and Pro A60M. With up to 12GB of video memory (VRAM), support for four monitors with high dynamic range (HDR), and Dolby Vision® support, the new devices notably improve performance for the Intel Arc Pro family. They were also carefully built for professional workstation users.

Why It Matters: Intel Arc Pro A60 and Pro A60M

The workstation GPU market has a new choice with Intel Arc Pro A-series graphics. The Intel Arc Pro A60 and A60M provide twice as many PCIe lanes (16) as previous Intel Arc Pro products, twice as much memory bandwidth (384 GB/s), twice as many specialised AI Xe Matrix Extensions (XMX) engines (256), and double as many ray tracing units (16) as previous Intel Arc Pro products. They also provide AV1 and complete media encode and decode capability. Intel Arc Pro GPUs are perfect for CAD/CAM, AI inferencing operations, and media processing in specialised business environments.

Leading workstation programmes used in the architecture, engineering, and construction, as well as the design and manufacturing industries, are ISV-certified1 and supported by quarterly driver releases for ongoing performance optimisations for Intel Arc Pro GPUs.

To facilitate the production of high-performance, high-fidelity visual experiences at scale, Intel's workstation GPUs are also optimised for media and entertainment applications like Blender and run rendering and ray tracing libraries in Intel® 's one API Rendering Toolkit.

Availability of the Intel Arc Pro A60 and Pro A60M

Regarding availability, the Intel Arc Pro A60M GPU for mobile systems will be made available by original equipment manufacturers (OEM) partners in the upcoming months. The Intel Arc Pro A60 GPU for workstation PCs will be available from Intel authorised distributors in the forthcoming weeks. HP offers other workstation designs with the Intel Arc Pro A40 GPU, with Dell and Lenovo following in the third quarter of 2023.

The 13th Gen Intel® CoreTM processors found in the 125W unlocked Intel® NUC 13 Extreme small form factor (SFF) PCs are also compatible with the Intel Arc Pro GPU series. A three-year limited warranty is offered with Intel Arc Pro desktop devices.
