  • The flagship Core Core i9-13980HX leads the Raptor Lake mobile CPU series.
  • Intel claims it is not just the first 24-core processor for a laptop but also the fastest mobile processor (at least until December 2022).
  • In addition to the Raptor Lake mobile CPU, Intel revealed the 13th Generation N-series CPUs.
  • According to Intel, the N-series is intended for entry-level laptops and desktops.
  • The target market is people searching for a computer that is inexpensive and primarily utilised for mainstream and educational applications.
  • The N-Series portfolio includes the i3-N-305, i3-N300, Intel Processor N200, and Intel Processor N100.

What can we expect from the new processors?

However, the N-series Ratpro Lake CPUs are not the only new desktop CPUs unveiled. Intel stated today that it is expanding its desktop processor selection with new SKUs geared at "mainstream PC users" instead of the "enthusiast-focused" K-series that debuted last September. The new desktop CPUs are said to be more energy efficient, with P-core speeds of up to 5.6GHz and E-core rates of up to 24 cores/32 threads. The newest 13th Generation desktop CPUs are now available, with prices beginning at $109.

Conclusion

Intel did not provide a release date for the H-, P-, and U-series laptops but did remark that the Raptor Lake CPUs will be used in "over 300" laptops, with firms such as Acer, Dell, HP, Razer, and Samsung likely to produce laptops using these processors. At the same time, the N-Series is expected to ship this year with OEM partners like Asus, Dell, and Lenovo.
