The ubiquitous protrusions attached to laptops and tablets are hard to miss at airport lounges, hotels, cafes, and even tourist spots. Corporate 3G data cards have made it possible for management as well as workforce to stay connected, no matter where they are. So, it's only fair that these devices get a category of their own.

The data cards from Tata are the clear winner in this category; both in the 100 to 499 employees category as well as 500+ employees category. Reliance data cards claimed the second spot, but it is close to being a competition to Tata in the 100 to 499 category and lags behind by just 5%. However, in the 500+ segment, Reliance has a lot of catching up to do for the number one spot, as it is 22% behind Tata. As for the third spot, Airtel is sitting comfortably posing little or no threat to Reliance. BSNL did not find many respondents in the 100 to 499 segment to make the cut, but it has claimed the fourth spot in the 500+ segment. The writing is on the wall that Tata is the most favored brand in this category.

What makes Tata the favorite then? The users have unanimously vouched for the reliability of the product as the key factor. Reliability of the product is what seems to be working for Reliance too, but the users seem to have been enticed by the brand Tata more. What should be noted is that existing Airtel users say their product is very much reliable. In both 100-499 as well 500+ segments, they have been vouched to be more reliable by their users as compared to what users have said about Reliance's products.

Coming to brand loyalty, there are no huge shift patterns that we can see. Add to this the fact that users who have opted to shift out to other brands in future, do not know which brand to go for.
