We spoke to Kunal Shrestha, Head of Product Management, QuickBooks India to understand the solution.
How Intuit QuickBooks work?
It’s a quite simple solution with various value-added features. The dashboard is clean and intuitive, even a new user can easily grab all in one look. To begin with, one needs to simply enter the GSTIN no in the dashboard box.
Another way is – go to Taxes, select ‘Edit GST’ and then enter GSTIN.
And you are done to move ahead to create billing. On the left side, you can see various options including Banking, Sales, Expenses, Employee, Reports, Taxes, Accounting, Apps, and Tools. These options help you to further reduce your efforts for billing and taxation.
You can add customers and their GST information for billings.
There are various other helpful options available that will ease your daily tasks. For instance, you can create a list of products or services plus tools available that let you import data or do the budget with easily.
Adding a product or service is quite simple, just you need to go to “Products and Services” option. You will get a pop-up window to fill-up all the data including Name, SKU and HSN code etc.
Creating invoice is also quite easy, go to create button and choose ‘invoice’ option. Click on customize to do the billing as per requirement or you can choose standard. Then fill out the details or select contents.
Once, you are done by adding all the required details, you can preview the invoice to print or edit if any changes required. Also, you can email the invoice directly to your customers’ inbox.
