IP Telephony over WAN

Siemen's HiPath 3000 offers solutions for connecting multiple offices through WAN for IP telephony. Once installed, your Calcutta office sales executive can dial the extension number of the sales manager in Hyderabad and talk without making an STD call.

HiPath 3000 has six boxes – 3300, 3350, 3500, 3550, 3700 and 3750.

This system can be used with analog, digital and cordless phones or Siemen’s softphones called Opticlients. It includes features like text mess- aging, recording calls date and time wise, naming extensions and assigning different ring tones to different types of calls. 

Under current regulations, a HiPath connected to WAN via ISDN cannot have an outgoing PSTN line to it. This ensures that a user from your Chennai office doesn't connect to your Hyderabad office and use this line to make personal calls.
