Tech giant Apple at its Special Event has announced the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, a new pro line for iPhone designed to deliver advanced performance for users. The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max comes in midnight green, space grey, silver and gold colours, and will be available in India beginning Friday, September 27.

Pro Design and Display

The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max feature a textured matte glass back and polished stainless steel band and feature the toughest glass ever in a smartphone and are rated IP68 for water resistance up to 4 meters for up to 30 minutes, and are protected against everyday spills including coffee and soda.

The devices come with new Super Retina XDR display, a custom-designed OLED, that provides users an immersive HDR viewing experience for movies and other high-definition video with up to 1,200 nits brightness. Super Retina XDR has a wider colour support with system-wide colour management and True Tone to offer a more natural viewing experience.

Fastest performance coupled with great battery life

The smartphones are powered by the A13 Bionic, which is up to 20 per cent faster CPU and GPU processing than the A12. The iPhone 11 Pro offers up to four more hours of battery life in a day than the iPhone XS, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max offers up to five hours more than iPhone XS Max.

Price and availability

iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be available in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB models in midnight green, space grey, silver and gold starting at Rs 99,900 and Rs 109,900, respectively.

iOS 13 will be available on September 19 as a free software update for iPhone 6s and later. Additional software features will be available on September 30 with iOS 13.1.7
