Complete Guide to Apple's 2024 Product Blitz
Pro Vision
The Vision Pro headset, Apple's first into mixed reality, could arrive sooner, possibly in February. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple is increasing Vision Pro manufacturing in Chinese facilities that have been bustling with activity for several weeks.
The projected headset was announced during Apple's WWDC in June, and recent developments indicate that it will arrive sooner than expected.
Apple AirPods 4
This next model will be available in two pricing tiers and will be the successor to the AirPods 3 and the cheaper AirPods 2. The AirPods 4 will have a new design with shorter stems that draw inspiration from the current and the AirPods Pro. Notably, the premium version of the AirPods 4 will have the sought-after Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) capabilities, which were previously restricted to the AirPods Pro.
The iPad series
According to sources, Apple is preparing to release new iPads, some of which may use the M3 chip. According to Mark Gurman, significant changes are expected for at least two models: the iPad Pro and iPad Air. The iPad Pro may receive upgrades such as an OLED display, a revamped appearance, and the inclusion of the M3 chip. Meanwhile, the iPad Air is rumoured to include the M2 CPU and come in two sizes—10.9-inch and 12.9-inch—though it will be slightly smaller than the 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro models.
Apple Watch Collection
Despite the recent debut of the Apple Watch Series 9 and Watch Ultra 2 at the Wonderlust event, speculations say that Apple is working on a unique wristwatch to mark the Apple Watch's tenth anniversary. This new smartwatch, tentatively dubbed Apple Watch X or Series 10, is slated to undergo a substantial overhaul, possibly adding technologies such as a MicroLED display, blood pressure monitoring, and a magnetic band connection method.
GPT for Apple
Earlier this year, allegations surfaced claiming that Apple has developed a ChatGPT-like internal tool to aid staff in testing new features, summarising content, and answering questions based on gained knowledge.
Mark Gurman said in July that Apple is actively developing their AI model based on the Ajax framework. "Apple GPT," similar to ChatGPT, is simply one of many potential applications the Ajax framework can handle.
