The iQoo 12 was released in India on Tuesday as the country's first smartphone to have Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. iQoo 12 device has a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a refresh rate 144Hz and a triple rear camera arrangement, including a 64-megapixel telephoto sensor. The iQoo 12 has a 6,010 sq. mm vapour cooling chamber, which is 40% larger than the one on its predecessor. It has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 120W FlashCharge.

The 12GB + 256GB RAM and storage configuration costs Rs. 52,999 in India, while the 16GB + 256GB variant costs Rs. 57,999. According to the business, the iQoo 12 handset would be available for a discount price of Rs. 49,999, which includes bank offers from HDFC or ICICI. The iQoo 12 phone will be available on Amazon India beginning on 13 December for those who acquired a Priority pass and on 14 December for everyone else. The Alpha handset model has an AG Glass back panel, while the Legend model has a white porcelain enamel glass back panel.

The new iQoo 12 is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone with the Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14. The iQoo 12 device has a 6.78-inch quad-HD (1,260x2,800 pixel) LTPO AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 1,200Hz immediate touch sampling rate. The iQoo 12 handset also supports up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness and 2,160Hz pulse width modulation (PWM) for optimal display dimming in low light conditions, according to iQoo.
The iQoo 12 is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 microprocessor, making it the first phone in India to include the chip maker's latest flagship mobile chipset, together with iQoo's unique Q1 chip, which is geared at increasing gaming performance on the phone. The iQoo 12 phone has up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It also has a 6,010 sq. mm vapour chamber with four cooling zones for improved thermal management.
