While the iQoo 10 Pro and iQoo 11 Pro both have 200W fast charging, the next iQoo 12 Pro and iQoo 12 will purportedly have 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging support on the Pro edition. The business may, however, increase battery capacity for both forthcoming handsets. According to recent reports, the iQOO 12 will have a 5,000mAh battery, while the Pro model will have a 5,100mAh battery.

The iQoo 12 series is set to go on sale on 7 November. Previous reports speculated on the future devices' features and colour options. Both handsets are expected to be available in black, red, and white.

Regarding battery capacity, the iQoo 12 is expected to include a 4,880mAh battery with 120W fast charging capabilities—the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC powers iQoo 12 Pro and iQoo 12 handsets.

iQoo 12 series: explanations for this shift

There are several possible explanations for this shift. First, iQoo probably responds to customer input, prioritising battery life above fast charging. Second, iQoo may attempt to distinguish the iQoo 12 Pro from other premium smartphones, which progressively deliver larger batteries.

Whatever the cause, balancing quick charging with battery capacity is difficult. On the one hand, charging your phone quickly is fantastic. On the other hand, having a phone that can last all day on a single charge is essential.

It's too early to say whether the iQoo 12 Pro's decision to trade 200W fast charging for a 5,100mAh battery will be good. However, it's a sign that iQoo is listening to its users and trying to offer a phone that meets their needs. Overall, the rumoured battery and fast charging arrangement of the iQoo 12 Pro is a mixed bag. Once the iQoo 12 series phone is introduced, observing how users react to this modification will be interesting.
