The iQOO Neo7 5G is the fourth member of the iQOO Neo 7 family, which currently includes three other members. The iQOO Neo7 SE, which was revealed at the beginning of December the previous year, and the current model are essentially identical.

iQOO Neo 7 Specifications

  • The iQOO Neo 7 has a Dimensity 8200, a large 6.78-inch 120Hz display, and a 5,000mAh battery that charges quickly.
  • Although it is more of a gaming phone than a camera phone, its design is retro and draws inspiration from the 8-bit gaming era and Polaroid cameras.
  • In order to accomplish this, the Dimensity 8200, a 4nm chipset, features a Mali-G610 MC6 GPU and support for displays with a high refresh rate.
  • There are four A55 cores at 2.0GHz and four Cortex-A78 cores on the CPU, with one of them operating at up to 3.1GHz and the other three peaking at 3.0GHz.
  • The FuntouchOS 13 system, which is based on Android 13, is able to add eight virtual gigabytes by utilizing the Extended RAM 3.0 feature. The Neo7 phones come with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

This phone is more of a gaming phone than a camera phone, as previously stated.

Display and Design

Moving on to the display, which is a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels (20:9), up from 6.62-inch on the Neo6. It can refresh at a rate of up to 120 Hz, with 60, 90, and 30 Hz options for the Always On Display and content.

In the high brightness mode, the maximum brightness that can be manually set is 1,000 nits. The display supports HDR10+.

Additionally, Ultra Game Mode features motion controls that make use of the gyroscope and accelerometer.Six different motions can have custom actions assigned to them: horizontal forward pressing, horizontal backward pressing, left hand lifting, right hand lifting, left leaning, and right leaning.

The New State game supports the motion control feature right out of the box, and more games will follow (including Call of Duty Mobile).

Battlegrounds Mobile India will soon support 90 frames per second, which should be completed by the end of March, and the game can run at 90 frames per second on the Neo7. Ultra graphics are supported in Call of Duty Mobile.

Specifications for the Battery

  • The Neo7's upgraded FlashCharge system now supports 120W, allowing it to be charged from 0 to 100% in 10 minutes and from 0 to 100% in 25 minutes. The Neo6's 80W system took 32 minutes and 12 minutes, respectively, for comparison.
  • The phone from last year had 300 more mAh, whereas the new model has 5,000 mAh.

Frost Blue and Interstellar Black are the two new colors of the iQOO Neo7: Frost Blue and Interstellar Black.

Further, iQOO has also stated that the Neo7 will receive security updates every couple of months for three years and that it will be updated to Android 15.

The Neo7's 8GB/128GB base model costs Rs 29,999, while the 12GB/256GB model costs Rs. 33,999. A one-time discount of Rs 1,500 is available on certain bank cards.
