The iQOO Z7i, which will be the first smartphone in the world to use the Dimensity 6020 processor, has officially launched in the Chinese market.

According to the D6020 chip's official page, it is a 7nm device with two ARM Cortex-A76 CPU cores that can run at up to 2.2GHz, six ARM Cortex-A55 cores that can run at up to 2GHz, and an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

It appears to be a rebranded or modified version of the existing Dimensity 700 SoC based on the CPU and GPU specifications.

The iQOO Z7i has a waterdrop-shaped 6.51-inch IPS LCD display. It has an 88.99 percent screen space, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 60Hz refresh rate, DC dimming, and a Full HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.

On the back, it has a dual-camera setup with a 13-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front camera is 5-megapixels.

The Dimensity 6020-controlled iQOO Z7i ships with 4 GB/6 GB/8 GB of LPDDR4x Slam, up to 8 GB of virtual Smash, and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 capacity. The device has a slot for a microSD card for more storage. On top of the OriginOS Ocean UI, it runs on Android 13.

The Z7i has a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 15W. Other features include a USB-C port, dual SIM, 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Price and availability of the iQOO Z7i

The iQOO Z7i is available in three configurations, a 4 GB RAM model with 128 GB of storage costs 899 Yuan ($131), a 6 GB RAM model with 128 GB of storage costs 1,099 Yuan ($160), and a 8 GB RAM model with 128 GB of storage costs 1,199 Yuan ($175).

It's available in Moon Shadow and Ice Lake Blue colors. Beginning on March 20, the device is expected to be available for purchase.

In addition, on March 20 in China, iQOO will present the iQOO Z7 and Z7x smartphones. The Snapdragon 782G and Snapdragon 695 chipsets are anticipated to power these gadgets.
