New Update

We introduced this category in 2000, and have seen this segment grow since. Today, ISDN has grown beyond being an Internet connection medium, and is being used for newer apps like voice and video conferencing. D-Link continues to dominate mind share as the brand of choice here, followed by Zyxel. Both retain their positions for the second year running.

Motorola has made a come back to the Users’ Choice Club after dropping out last year, and a new player, Cisco, has also entered. Most users who voted for D-Link attributed its popularity to low price. Users consider quality as the most important factor when buying ISDN devices. D-Link seems to be a favorite in the SME segment, while Zyxel among

corporates, perhaps because Zyxel is costlier and has more features for

corporates.
