IT Manager of the Month

Harsha has been working as an IT Manager for over 9 years now and specializes

in system administration, firewalls, ERP implementations, web casting and video

conferencing.

He prizes the project he is involved with these days, where they feed 9.7

lakh children by the mid-day meal program. He supports the organization in all

technical aspects and feels collaborative efforts of his entire team led them to

achieve the CNBC social enterprise of the year 2008 award. He was also part of

the technical team in Asia's No'1 Theme Park project (estimated at 600 crores)

in Bangalore for the Akshayapatra Foundation, as the IT-Head.

He relishes setting up IT infrastructure from scratch and in fact this is

what has kept him occupied throughout his career.

He thinks connecting different locations and multi-tasking across India and

all over the world are the biggest challenges in his job. A workaholic by

nature, he's lost count on the number of weekends spent in office!

However, he compensates his family by spending quality time with his two

little kids. He seeks divine inspiration from Bhagwat Gita and regularly chants

the Hare Krishna mantra.
