From clattering of the laptop’s keys at your workstation to working from home while sipping a coffee, the work culture has significantly evolved during the pandemic. As a result, it accelerated the adoption of technology in the workplace, thus massively impacting the way we used to work. While small as well as bigger organizations are adopting AI, ML coupled with secured data systems, empowered interconnected teams, enterprise technology promises to produce new levels of workforce efficiency, productivity and growth across enterprises. Therefore, choosing the right technology can vastly improve a company’s overall efficiency and performance in the market, as well as improve employee productivity, communication, collaboration, morale and engagement company-wide.

How big is Jabra’s Enterprise market in India? How important is the India market for Jabra?

We believe that our India market share is consistent with our global market share. Our customers embrace our vision, design approach and quality of products thereby patronizing our products. India is an important growth market, and we have our attention focused on this.

Jabra’s enterprise segment has Evolve, Speak and PanaCast series, which are highly-priced. Which products see good sales in India?

Jabra designs products as per customer use cases. For example, the Evolve series for Office use, Biz and Engage series for Contact Centric use and Panacast and Speak for Collaboration. Our products solve customers’ pain points and needs, thereby adding value. Our pricing strategy reflects this, and we see uniformly good uptake across the board.

Jabra retains a premium aura in India. Is it challenging for the brand as there are many options available in the market at a lower price?

We are glad that the market sees it that way. Customers recognize the value of the products which is engineered in Denmark, built by a company that has been in existence for over 150 years and the only company with a history of building medical, consumer and enterprise-grade products. We are specialists in audio and video technology and have an unrivalled understanding of high-quality sound in all its forms - from conversation to music. Jabra is a pioneering innovator of new sound experiences from wired to wireless, and we stand for quality and premium products.

In our experience, customers are discerning and will pay the right price for a product that will solve their needs and pain points.

‘Engineered for purpose’. Tell us more about the technology used to offer such innovative products?

We know sound well. As part of GN Group, we’ve been dedicated to sound for over a century. By delivering improved experiences, we design products that are engineered for one’s audio needs, making life sound better. For example, enterprise users have different needs, some are desk workers, some need to move within office to conduct their work, some travel outside the office, some need to concentrate in a noisy office environment, some work from home, some need integration to different UC platforms, etc. While a headset is a common requirement for all this, our “Engineered for purpose” design caters to these specific needs. We extensively use advanced AI, edge computing technologies, etc. in many of our products to suit the changing ways of working in the new normal.

What is next in store for Jabra?

As a leader in audio and video solutions, we continue to bring innovative products into the market every year. We recently expanded our new Evolve2 range by adding Evolve2 30 at attractive prices to enable hybrid work models, thus enabling, every user to enjoy the benefits of experiencing premium collaboration, concentration, and comfort while working.

We also recently launched the Panacast50, the first-ever normal-ready intelligent video bar. It is appreciative that our products are being praised and loved by our audience worldwide. This will be followed by the top of the range Panacast20, which takes the personal video conferencing to the next level.

We have lined up a range of new and exciting products to be launched during the later part of the year.
