Jio Launches its VR Headset: Know Features, Price, and Availability

JioDive is the first virtual reality (VR) headset released by Reliance Jio. The revolutionary gadget gives users a brand-new method to watch the IPL 2023 matches online on a fictitious 100-inch screen with a 360-degree view of the stadium. For a more immersive experience, users can also view other videos on the tablet. The JioCinema software, which has features like several camera angles and many languages, combines with the JioDive VR headgear, a smartphone-based device that gives a similar experience. Users must also download and install the JioImmerse app on their smartphones to watch IPL 2023 matches and other content with JioDive. With smartphones from OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Vivo, Xiaomi, Poco, Samsung, Apple, Nokia, and other manufacturers, the JioDive VR headset is compatible.

Features of the Jio VR Headset

Jio's exclusive JioDive VR headset users can watch the TATA IPL on JioCinema on a 100-inch virtual screen. The headgear is compatible with Android and iOS devices with displays between 4.7 and 6.7 inches that run on Android 9 or higher or iOS 15 or later.

The headset also boasts three-way adjustable straps for a precise fit, a click button for seamless VR interaction, and adjustable lenses with centre and side wheels for a crisper image and visual comfort.

How to use the JioDive headset

By installing the JioImmerse app on their phones and scanning the QR code on the headset's box, users may utilise JioDive. Users must log in to the app and connect to a Jio 4G, 5G, or JioFiber network. Users can then put their phone in the headset between the support clip and lenses and select the "Watch on JioDive'' option under JioDive in the app. Users can also alter the picture quality and straps for a comfortable and clear view.

Price and accessibility of the JioDive VR headset

Jio has set pricing of Rs 1,299 for its JioDive VR headgear, which comes in a black colour option. Users can purchase the headset at JioMart or the company's official website. Additionally, Jio gives Rs 500 cashback on orders placed using Paytm Wallet. In addition, customers who spend at least Rs 500 on the platform can receive a Rs 100 discount.
