JioBook (2023) to Be Released on Amazon in India on 31 July: Specifications, Price, and More

Reliance Jio's second-generation JioBook laptop will be available on Amazon in India on 31 July. According to the teaser on Amazon, the computer would be lighter than its previous edition, which was released in October 2022.

JioBook (2023) features and specifications to be expected

• According to the Amazon microsite, one of the most noticeable physical variations between the 2022 and 2023 editions of the JioBook 4G laptop will be weight. The forthcoming device, expected to be released in the country on 31 July, is listed to weigh 990g, significantly less than the previous generation, which weighed 1.2kg.

• The laptop will run Android and include the company's JioOS interface, which is also included on the original JioBook. The microsite also indicates that, like its predecessor, it will offer 4G connectivity. Jio also promises that the new JioBook would have an all-day battery life.

• According to the Amazon webpage, the new JioBook will be powered by an octa-core processor. It will weigh 990 mg, substantially lighter than its predecessor, which weighed 1.2 kg. The teaser confirms that the laptop would have a "full-day battery" and 4G internet capability.

• Regarding hue, the JioBook (2023) will be available in Blue and Grey. Jio's next laptop will run the JioOS operating system and come pre-loaded with programmes such as JioMeet, JioCloud, JioSecurity, and others.

• The JioBook, which debuted in India last year, was powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with Adreno 610 GPU, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of eMMC storage that can be expanded up to 128GB through a microSD card. It has an 11.6-inch HD display (1366 x 768 pixels). According to the company, it has a 5,000mAh battery that provides more than 8 hours of power life on a single charge.

Price of the JioBook (2023)

According to 91Mobiles, the next JioBook will be priced under Rs. 20,000. There are no further details about the device's specifications, cost, or availability. Notably, the first-generation JioBook was priced at Rs. 15,799.
