Schedule your meeting and share content

JioMeet is similar to many other video conferencing apps out there, in terms of features. Zoom, Webex, JioMeet, and name any other popular platform, each of them provides scheduling and screen sharing.

The control

Nothing new, but easier to manage. The host can decide whether participants will be on mute, can share video or not, etc. JioMeet lets you control the same, but it’s much easier compare to some of the platforms.

Call recording

The conference recording feature is not available with JioMeet, Zoom also doesn’t support recording in the free version. So, can we expect a pro version soon with as the privacy policy for JioMeet makes mention of a “pro” version of the service that may be in development.

Conclusion

Though the JioMeet shares its features with most of the popular video conferencing platforms out there, still it's no time limit (24 hours) makes it best.

Almost every video conferencing platform has some limit either on time or participants, JioMeet is free for unlimited calls but restricts you with only 100 participants. Again, similar to Zoom but better to many.

The mobile app design is not groundbreaking, and sometimes looks similar to the Zoom app, it has taken a lot of inspiration from Zoom. You can join or host from your Browser as well, without installing the app. The interface is quite simple and identical Zoom, including the blue accent.

JioMeet comes with the proper privacy policy in place and the website calls it India’s own, most secure video conferencing solution. Businesses looking a cheaper conferencing solution now have a completely free platform to meet and discuss over a video call without any interruption.

Finally, India has its own completely free video conferencing platform with all the essential features and most importantly uninterrupted 24 hours of video chat, which surely attracts millions of eyes.
