Jio said it would create a 5G-ready smartphone to support its 5G network as soon as it launches in India, joining the wave of 5G that is on its way. The oil and data firm stated that it is working with Google to produce this JioPhone.

The JioPhone, codenamed "Ganga," will be released in collaboration with LYF and will have the model number LS1654QB5, according to a leaked firmware report initially obtained by 91mobiles. Furthermore the smartphone should have a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor, with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB of storage, will presumably power it. The JioPhone 5G could include two cameras on the rear, including a 13MP primary lens and a 2MP secondary lens, like most smartphones being released today. A front camera with an 8MP resolution is planned. The device reportedly runs Android 12. Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.1, and Syntiant NDP115 always-on AI are among the connection capabilities.
