There would hardly be an IT professional who hasn't posted his or her resume
on at least one job site. That's the lure of job sites, and whether you finally
find the right job or not, they have at least made it convenient for you to
apply, and show you all the options that match your profile. Llike all other
categories, there's immense competition in this segment as well, with various
job sites trying to become the best source to find jobs.
Of all the job sites out there, only four managed to get enough votes for us
to analyze their performance. Of these, monster.com has emerged as the most
future ready job site, and therefore the winner of this year's Users' Choice
award. If monster.com is moving at a speed of 100, then the runner up naukri.com
is moving at 70, and the other two, timesjobs and jobstreet are even slower.
Such is the comparison between the various job sites. Jobstreet has the highest
degree of brand persuasion, followed by timesjobs, monster, and finally naukri.
The trend is similar in brand pull as well, except that naukri.com needs to be a
little more cautious, because more users are likely to switch out of it than
switch into it. Lastly, brand loyalties remain low across all job sites, which
is obvious because when somebody is looking for a job, he/she is likely to apply
in more than one job site. That's why percentage of users likely to switch from
one job site to another is well over 49% for all the job sites.
