The phablet sports a large 5.5-inch IPS display that comes with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is based on latest Android 4.2 v. The device packs the similar 1.2 GHz Mediatek processor that has become common with budget quad-core smartphones these days.

The Karbonn S9 Titanium gets a 13 MP rear camera with an LED flash and a bigger 5 MP front camera for video chatting. The phablet offers 16 GB internal memory, expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. Apart from that you have the basic connectivity options like 3G/2G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and dual-SIM functionality.

The quad-core processor is backed up by 1 GB RAM that usually results in smooth and lag-free performance. Karbonn has added a 2600 mAh battery to back-up the S9 Titanium phablet.

The handset comes bundled with a flip cover and will be available on shelves priced at Rs 19,990. The S9 Titanium could be a like-for-like match for upcoming Micromax Canvas 4 which should sport similar hardware specs.
