Kaya's New Application Rollout for Kaya Clinic Operations

The Problem: With more than 15 minutes to complete a billing transaction for a client, the erstwhile solution was unacceptable to the business. So, they decided to rollout a new POS system based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform. This would be used by all the billing counters and doctors in all the Clinics to perform their daily tasks, which would help the task force across 84 clinics in India and 19 in the Middle East.

The Solution: The in-house expert team deployed Citrix Branch Repeater in all the clinics which helped acceleration and optimization of the traffic over WAN Networks. Preliminary prototype rollouts suggested performance issues. These could not be solved only by tuning the application. A quick prototype of Citrix repeater gave good results. It was then decided to procure the repeaters for all the clinics. The rollout at around 68 clinics had to be done within a short span of time. The configuration for these was done remotely using Citrix Gotoassist. The roll out happened in a matter of 2-3 weeks all over India

The Result: The time taken to complete the complete billing transaction today is less than 3 minutes. The solution has helped in saving on bandwidth costs and also reduced customer dissatisfaction due to billing time.
