The
whole keyboard is made up of a soft transparent membrane, which makes the
keyboard water-proof and dust-proof. The membrane feels like a combination of
rubber and plastic, which makes the keyboard flexible–it can be folded,
rolled, etc. Even if you use it with papers kept beneath it, you will be able to
type comfortably.
The membrane makes the keyboard very soft and you can type on
this keyboard for hours together without hurting your fingertips. The keys don’t
make a sound when clicked.
The keyboard is comparatively much thinner than the standard
keyboards, but quite similar in length and breath. A few buttons are broken up
into smaller ones, like the spacebar is split into three buttons and the left
shift button is split into two.
This is a 107-key PS2 keyboard. (The standard keyboard has
104 keys). The three additional buttons are called Sleep, Wake up, and Power.
Sleep puts the computer in suspend mode. The Wake up button pulls it out of
suspend mode and the Power button works like a toggle switch for suspend and
wake up. While the computer is on suspend mode, pressing any other key will also
bring it out of suspend.
