Lava Agni 2 5G was released in India in May. The Lava Agni 2 5G device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC and a 4,700mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging capabilities. It also has a curved AMOLED 120Hz display and a quad 50-megapixel rear camera system. However, the Lava Agni 2 replaced the Lava Agni 5G, released in November 2021. A source believes that the company is planning to launch a new Agni 2S model and has speculated on the handset's features.


Lava Agni 2S: Release Date

Tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) believes the Lava Agni 2S will be released in India in November. According to the source, the anticipated handset would have similar features to the Lava Agni 2 but will likely have a different chipset. Little more is known about the device, although more information is expected to be published closer to the debut date.

The Lava Agni 2 5G is available in Heather, Iron, and Viridian colour variants and is priced in India at Rs. 19,999 for its single 8GB + 256GB variant. The Lava Agni 2 5G  phone is available for purchase in the country through the Amazon website. The Lava Agni 2 5G phone has four rear cameras in a large circular module in the top centre of the back surface.

The Lava Agni 2 5G features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (2220x1080 pixels) curved AMOLED display, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, an ergonomic 3D dual-curved panel, and HDR10+ support. Moreover, the Lava Agni 2 5G phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, 8GB of RAM (easily extendable to 16GB), and 256GB of internal storage. It comes pre-installed with Android 13.0.

The Lava Agni 2 5G's quad rear camera unit has a 50-megapixel 1.0-micron primary sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The Lava Agni 2 5G front camera, housed in a hole-punch slot at the top of the display, has a 16-megapixel sensor.

The Lava Agni 2 5G comes with a 4,700mAh battery and 66W wired fast charging, which claims to charge the Lava Agni 2 5G handset from 0 to 50% in under 16 minutes. For security, the phone includes an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Lava Agni 2 5G handset also has 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C, GPS, Beidou, Galileo, and Glonass connection. It weighs 210 grams and measures 164.15mm x 74.7mm x 8.75mm.
