The members of the championship-winning team will each receive a customized skin for the champion who most embodied them throughout the competition, as is customary for Worlds champions. The five starters for DRX provided fans a sneak peek at the champions they might choose for their Worlds 2022 skins at the post-match news conference. The majority of the players were very particular about their selections.

Here are DRX's preliminary choices for the champions they wish to choose to represent when their skins are revealed the following year.

Kingen: Aatrox

  • He triumphed in four of their six games against the Worlds winner this year.
  • Including the pivotal third game of DRX's semifinal matchup with Gen.G. According to the League analytics website Games of Legends, Zeka played 18 games with Akali this year, amassing a 13-5 record and 6.3 KDA with her.

Deft: Caitlyn

  • Deft will finally receive a Worlds skin, and it will be for a champion who has been a mainstay in his career since 2013.
  • Deft used the Sheriff of Piltover to defeat T1 in game five of the finals and win the first Summoner's Cup in his illustrious career.
