Esports has finally seen possibly its first case of Novel Coronavirus. League of Legends Pro LemonNation has tested positive for Covid-19, he announced on Twitter.
The current manager of team Radiance posted a part of his test report on Twitter, saying that he is now a “corona boy”. The Imgur link shows a line from his report, which says “your Coronavirus Covid-19 RNA Detection test by RT-qPCR has come back POSITIVE.”

LemonNation is among the best known support players in the world of League of Legends. He became the first player in 2012 to reach on the top of elo ladder by playing only support, specifically Janna. He is known for his stint at Cloud9, where he played support with the likes of Sneaky and later became the head coach of the team. He was also the first person to play Nasus as a support in a competitive match.
After the announcement, his former team, Cloud9 replied from their Twitter handle, “Take Care Lemon Boy”. Many fans and esports personalities also took to twitter to express concern and wished his speedy recovery.
