The first thing that strikes your mind about U110 is the beauty and style,

and then its compactness. This makes it ideal for professionals looking for

performance with style. The IdeaPad comes with a frameless screen and glossy

finish. It weighs just 1.3 Kg (with power adapter). Moving to features, the

notebook comes with 11.1 inch screen fitted with 1.3 megapixel camera, three USB

ports and a 'FireWire' port. It has Intel Core 2 Duo processor 1.8 GHz with 2 GB

of RAM and 120 GB HDD. It also comes with an external optical drive that is a

bit inconvenient as you need to carry an extra device. Default OS is Windows

Vista Home Premium.

In our performance tests, the machine scored decently with 580 in 3D Mark &

3372 in PC Marks. Plus it scored very well given its small form factor in

Battery Mark, giving a backup of 3 Hours and 45 Minutes. Overall, it is easy and

comfortable to work with given the decent keyboard & touch pad. Some really good

features of U110 are face recognition and designer onetouch short cut buttons.
