There was a trend for the large size devices, but now more companies are focusing on 5.5 or 5 inch devices. However, a few months back Xiaomi Mi Max launched in the phablet category and now Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is here with a large screen size of 6.4-inches. The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is priced at INR 14,999 and is available exclusively on Amazon.in.

In terms of design, there is nothing innovative, yet the device has various promising features. It has a classy full metal body design and is comfortable to hold, but could be difficult to manage using single-hand. As per Lenovo, this will cater the need of today’s smartphone consumers who are increasingly using their device for data consumption more than voice calling.

Rear camera was able to capture good images quickly and as it comes with several modification features so you gonna enjoy the photography with it.

Front 8 MP camera comes with LED flash that helps you to capture selfies even in low light conditions, however, it works more like a front torch and we didn't notice major lighting difference.

with the device for few minutes, we were able to see the smooth performance. We played some of the games, such as Asphalt 8 and it was able to handle it quite easily without any visible performance lag.

It also comes with a fingerprint scanner and inbuilt softwares like McAfee Security to protect users’ data.

Early Verdict

Though phablet category is not so popular these days, but only one competitor is out there for Lenovo is Xiaomi. Somehow, both has similar a bit different hardware combination, but Lenovo has a dual lens at the rear with loads of features which can add value to consumers. It looks promising product in the phablet category, yet we haven’t tested in the real world so just wait for our detailed Lenovo Phab 2 Plus review.
