Lenovo has unveiled the Legion Go, a portable gaming device that competes with Nintendo Switch and Asus' ROG Ally. Lenovo's Legion Go, which is similar to ROG Ally in that it runs Windows 11, is powered by an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme CPU. Lenovo Legion Go: Specifications

  • The Legion Go features an 8.8-inch QHD IPS LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness and 97 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. There is also a stand at the back to raise the console onto the platform.
  • The power button features RGB lighting with the iconic Lenovo Legion "O" that changes colors to indicate the user's selected fan mode. It comes with Nintendo Switch-style controllers called Legion TrueStrike controllers, which attach to the frame with magnets and can be removed when needed.
  • The controls feature hall-effect joysticks that prevent joystick drift and reduce dead zones for improved responsiveness and accuracy.
  • In addition to the control buttons, the controls also include an integrated touchpad, a large D-pad, an angled mouse wheel and a total of 10 mappable shoulder, trigger and grip buttons.

According to Lenovo, the Legion Go Coldfront thermal technology includes a 79-blade liquid crystal polymer fan that operates in quiet mode with less than 25 dB of fan noise. The device can reach 25 watts of TGP power in regular mode. Out of the box, Legion Go for Windows 11 includes Legion Space, which allows users to easily access all game platforms and stores.

The Legion Game Store syncs with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for seamless game purchases. Legion Space combines compatible game launchers and provides easy access to the entire game library. Additionally, users can adjust settings such as resolution, refresh rate, brightness and more.

The console is supported by a 49.2Wh battery that supports Super Rapid Charge, which charges the battery up to 70% in just half an hour.

In addition, the Lenovo Legion Go has a power bypass that protects the battery from wear and removes heat when you play games while plugged in. The Lenovo Legion Go includes two USB Type-C ports that support DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery 3.0. In addition, the console supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.

Lenovo Legion Go will be available in November starting at 799 euros (about 71,500 rubles). Currently there is no information about the availability of Legion Go in India.
