"After occupying a healthy position in the PC market, Lenovo is now setting itself up for the PC+ market with its smart devices and Vibe X is our attempt to set our footing with the market majors, said Amar Babu, managing director, Lenovo India.

Lenovo Vibe X is a combination of well built product and priced at a range that seems neither too high nor too low. For Rs 25,999 the Vibe X sports a 5 inch full HD 1920x1080 pixels Corning Gorilla 3 display and running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. Under the hood, the phone packs a 1.5 GHz quad-core CPU along with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory out of which 12.7 GB is usable.

The phone gets a 13 MP rear camera with BSI sensor and 5 MP front facing snapper for video calling. The phone is one of the slimmest and lightest 5 inch models in the market at 121 grams and loaded with a mere 2000 mAh battery which might prove to be an issue with such high-end features.

Lenovo pits the Vibe X against the likes of Gionee Elife E6, LG Nexus 4, HTC Desire 600 etc and will be looking to make inroads with the device which sounds competent and priced reasonably. However, we will reserve our judgment till we can get a closer look at the device.
