Logitech Power Optical Duo

This combo from Logitech comprises a corded keyboard and an optical mouse with a scroll wheel. The keyboard has a split Y cable with two PS/2 connectors, for connecting the mouse and the keyboard to the PC. Since the optical mouse doesn’t have a roller ball, the task of cleaning them doesn’t exist. The keyboard has soft keys and a detachable palm rest. It also has some extra buttons to launch applications such as IE, Outlook, etc, an Internet search button and three buttons for music, volume and control. 

The extra features save time of the user. Its key feature, for instance, can be customized to launch programs of your choice with a single key. It even displays a message when you press the extra buttons including num lock, caps lock etc. The product comes with some interesting software, such as musicmatch jukebox, iTouch (for assigning hotkeys) and a service called wild tangent game channel that informs you of the latest games. The CD has a few more exciting games as well. Another service called desktop messenger keeps you updated of software upgrades and Logitech products.
