New Update

Logitech has tried to make the design as clean looking as possible with Z 600 Bluetooth speakers. Though the speakers are wireless, they still have chords for joining them and the AC adapter is integrated into that chord that may seem quite hectic but are easy to connect and portable enough to be transported to various places. The speakers also come with a 3.5 mm audio cable to connect non Bluetooth devices. They are shipped with a USB transmitter to pair with desktops and laptops. One interesting feature is that there are no physical buttons for volume control, instead, there is a touch sensitive panel on top of the right speaker, and you need to rotate your finger in circular motion to increase/decrease volume. It emits a pop sound when volume reaches the max level.

Performance - The speakers are capable of playing loud music and can fill a medium sized room with booming audio. We played different songs through Logitech Z600 speakers to test for bass, sound clarity etc. and the speakers delivered an all-round good performance. On our bass track the opening notes sounded clear but with high pitched bass, it did not score well. Bass lovers though would be disappointed by the performance of these speakers. Distortion occured in sound on some tracks when played at maximum volume levels, but when lowering the volume, a clean audio is delivered. The speakers can be paired with three Bluetooth devices at a time and switching between them is fairly easy. You simply pause one device and play another whenever you wish.
