Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services - EMLAP-FEEL THE IMPULSION

The Problem: MMFSL had to pay a huge cost on licensing and continuous upgrades on software. While doing an analysis of software cost against each employee, the company found that it was more than the actual C2C of these users. Also not all employees could be given access to all the software due to limitations of licenses.

The Solution: MMFSL wanted to reduce this licensing cost and provide it as an incentive to its employees. Apart from that everyone needed to be managed and measured through technology with one common scale.

The Result: The company deployed Enquiry Management, Enquiry Assignments & Loan Application Processing (EMLAP). It is basically a data capture tool that can be used for any data capturing activity in the field or at office. EMLAP is built completely on Open Source architecture. It increased cost saving, leading to additional incentives for employees. Also duplication of data capturing from manual documents is eliminated which in turn improved the speed of customer service.
