The Problem: They wanted a better platform for evaluating mechanics at their various dealerships. This included conduction and supervision of tests, result declarations, competency measures, notifications, uploading manpower data, conducting quiz programs, etc. without any further use of paper. For this they needed a process that will save paper, minimize time, saves effort and also give a prompt response to the user.

The Solution: Mechanics Mecaknow is based on Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5 and lets the company evaluate the knowledge level of mechanics on the basis of various parameters defined by Customer care training department. This also furthers their Green IT initiative and increased dealer competency. The users of the project are dealer mechanics, area offices, customer care managers and field users. The user is not required to come physically to give the test, plus there is no need to nominate users over phone. They can attend tests online and get immediate results, also they can nominate themselves for training

The Result: They've been able to save Rs 50,000 in paper costs and Rs 10 lakhs in travel costs. Some 2,500+ mechanics, field users and ITI training institute users are using this application.
