This segment got 23 players, out of which only 5 made it to the User's Choice

club of 2010. Sify is the winner in this category with 27% of survey

participants getting their managed application services from it, followed by HP

and then Wipro. When it comes to top of mind recall, there is no favorites with

not even single member of User's Choice club getting more than 20% top of mind

recall. One reason for this could be that it's a relatively new segment.

Sify's winning streak continues in the future brand preference reasons as

well. It's alsothe likely choice amongst future buyers for two reasons--brand

value and product reliability. Wipro is another favorite for its product

reliability, and 76% of its likely future adopters have given it high marks for

initial price. Sify has even received good votes for after sales support/service

in this segment.

Users' Choice Club 2010
Sify has replaced HP from its top position in 2009. Wipro gains over IBM

this year. Reliance is the new entrant.

Sify and Wipro score a remarkable 100% on reliabilty of their products.

Wipro is the only member of User's Choice club which enjoys 100% brand

loyalty amongst its customers in this segment. Reliance has the next highest

brand loyalty and it even saw an increase over last year. IBM saw a slight

decline over last year.

BFSI, communication media, healthcare, and services are four verticals where

winner Sify is dominating. IT also cominates in south and western India, but is

weak in north and east. Interestingly in healthcare, other brand that runs

parallel to Sify is Reliance. Reliance also has very strong brand perception in

the BFSI segment.

Brand Loyalty 2010 vs 2009
Wipro enjoys 100%brand loyalty amongst its existing customers, followed by

Reliance at 83%.

Both manufacturing verticals (discrete and process) are dominated by Wipro

with IBM being the leader in IT/ITeS. Wipro is also very strong in BFSI.

One non-club member NIIT Technologies has complete dominance in education

vertical, but has not been represented here.
