Future Brand Preference Reasons |
Reliability of product is again a key reason for users preferring a brand in future. |
Among the top three members of this year's User's Choice club, reliability of
service is the most important factor when it comes to choosing a future services
provider. 88% of users who're likely to choose IBM's managed server services
gave product reliability as the key reason, followed by 85% of HP's fan club,
and 75% in case of Wipro. 67% of those likely to go with HP gave initial price
as the reason, followed by 41% for IBM and 38% for Wipro. Percentage of
respondents for brand and after sales support/service were pretty low.
Brand Loyalty 2010 vs 2009 |
While HP and IBM have gained on brand loyalty, the increase is not impressive. |
There is total dominance of HP across all eight verticals. In zone wise
analysis, there is equal dominance among HP and IBM; north and south are
dominated by HP while the other two by IBM.
In the analysis of brand loyalty among 4 participants of this year's User's
Choice club, the brand that comes on top is HP with 49% of current HP users most
likely to remain loyal to their brand. IBM is not far behind and has a brand
loyalty of 40%, while the other two members, Wipro and CMS, are at 30% and 33%
respectively. Wipro saw a decline in its loyal customers and needs to therefore
be more careful. 70% of the remaining users of Wipro's managed service were not
sure of which brand to switch to.
