New Update

Managing Active Directory in a small office environment was never so easy before. Because, you need to have expertise in system administration domain, to manage the active directories. Here, with ADManager Plus, you will get a simple, intuitive and centralized web-based UI to handle Active Directory management and reporting. Most common type of routine management jobs that ADManager is capable of doing consist of Bulk users, Passwords, Bulk groups, File permissions, work flow, Help Desk and exchange management. As far as reports are concerned, you will get different types of reports including- users, logon, passwords, NTFS, group, account lockout etc. This Active Directory tool offers mobile AD apps that enable you to perform important user management tasks right from you mobile devices. I tried to test its working on an Android smartphone (Jelly Bean).

To get this app up and working, you need to install the Admanager server in your specific domain. After installing and configuring it properly, you can straight away use the mobile app for AD management. The login screen of the app looks for the IP address of server or the name of the server. The exact working is like where you will first put in correct details of server, password and port. With the help of wifi or internet, it will connect with ADmanager plus server, where authentication and authorization of user will be tested and verified. Lastly, the Active Directory will be connected with server for updation or authentication. Here, the type of work which an administrator can do is restricted as compared to the web version of ADManager plus. Basically, an administrator is able to exercise five important functions, which are- Reset Password, Unlock User Accounts, Enable User Accounts, Disable User Accounts and Delete User Accounts. All functions were responding, exactly to the way it intended to be. All in all, I can say that I couldn't find any flaw in this app but there is possibility of increasing the feature set so that it would become more convenient for the administrators.
