Solution Deployment

Mangalam Cement decided to deploy the SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Management solution at 4 plants, 2 captive power plants, 13 windmills, 2 captive mines, and 55 distribution centres. The deployment was supported by the SAP Enterprise Support advisory team and EY. Now MCL has evolved into an information-centric organization where decisions are driven by real-time data insight. MCL is enhancing critical business processes such as procure to pay, order to cash, and design to deliver.

The integrated IT platform positions Mangalam Cement to drive operational efficiencies and productivity and ultimately gain market share, all while delivering products to its consumers. In addition, the company has integrated SAP S/4HANA with the shop-floor programmable logic controller to accurately measure the volume of cement produced and weighbridges to measure freight movement.
