New Update

At Max New York Life Insurance (MNYLI), an infrastructural evaluation done on
various parameters like network security, etc it came out that the datacenter
had several inefficiencies like presence of single point of failure,
unauthorized access to data, etc. Due to growing business data and requirements
and aiming at delivering cost effective and efficient managed data services for
the next 5 years, redesigning of the datacenters was decided.

A 3 Tier Architecture design for the datacenter was deployed which encompasses
access layer, protection layer and core layer. Network connectivity has been
secured by using IPS & Firewall for corporate users, business partners and
Internet users. To prevent any unauthorized access or threat to the network from
outside, a state of the art CheckPoint Firewall system which has features like
HIDS, IPS, IDS has been deployed.

This project delivered a more secure infrastructure with scalability and
redundancy for the organization. It also provided no single point of failure in
the infrastructure and reduced administrative and management overheads. It
delivered compliance requirements with respect to information security policies,
reduced the time of recovery for business applications and ensured authorized
access. Security architecture implemented resulted in savings of power, space
and cooling requirements.
