METZ India launches Google TV with Metz eye care

METZ India aims at resolving the problem of flickering and harmful blue light to protect the eye through Metz eye care in the new series of TV

METZ India has launched Google TV series in India. The company said at its launch event that the new Google TV is equipped with the latest technologies such as Chameleon Extreme 2.0 AI PQ Engine. The new Google TV is capable of browsing content from the user's apps and organise them. Google TV also primarily combines popular streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney Plus among others into a common streamlined user-interface.

This feature enables users to watch all their preferred shows and entertainment through a single platform. The Metz Google TV is available in display sizes ranging from 43 inches up to 75 inches, and the company says that this offering is to cater to the demand for bigger screens. Some of the other noticeable features include: Eye Care Technology, flicker free feature, hands-free voice control, built-in mic, filmmaker, HDR 10 and Dolby Digital plus and DTS Tru Surround sound.

Another attraction of the product is the anti-bacterial remote control, which has a reflective coating that does not support the proliferation of bacteria. This feature has been introduced keeping in mind the hygiene practices being followed after the pandemic set in. METZ India is currently making its products available through its channel partner ecosystem; however, the company is also contemplating a strategy for e-commerce platforms.

"I am confident that people in India will have a more delightful TV experience with these sets that help users to find the content they love. India is our focused market and we will be focusing on best offerings and bigger screen sizes such as 75 and 86 inch Google TV for our customers in India.
