Microsoft has Released Minecraft for Chromebook

According to Microsoft, a Chromebook Early Access edition of Minecraft is currently accessible. The game will have options including multiplayer cross-device play with friends, access to the Minecraft Marketplace, and Realm play.

How much does Minecraft cost on a Chromebook?

There are a few different options available to you if you are interested in purchasing the early access version of Minecraft for your Chromebook.

The first choice is the $19.99 (approximately Rs 1,655) Chromebook + Android bundle. You can play Minecraft on either a Chromebook or an Android device with this version, giving you flexibility.

Alternately, you can get Minecraft only for Android for $6.99 (roughly Rs 579). If you only intend to play Minecraft on your Android device, this option is ideal. However, you can upgrade to the Chromebook version for an additional $13.00 (approximately Rs 1,077) if you decide later that you want to play on your Chromebook as well.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to transfer your existing worlds if you have been playing Minecraft on a different platform and want to switch to the Chromebook version.

Additionally, you will need to purchase Minecraft separately from the Google Play store if you have previously purchased the Chromebook version.
