Bing AI, which is based on OpenAI's GPT4 big language model, powers Windows Copilot. It interacts with the operating system and apps using Windows 11 APIs, enabling users to modify settings and programmes.

The inbox plugin, which was discovered in a "JSON" file in Windows 11 Build 23506, may completely change how you use the operating system. While the "Fix Slow PC," "Close App," and "Screen Snipping" plugins allow users to improve PC speed, quit apps, and even help snap screenshots, the "Set Windows Theme" plugin enables users to change the device theme via Copilot.

The 'Set Timer and Set Alarm' plugins allow you to use Windows Copilot to create alarms and custom timers, just like other voice assistants. The 'Suggest Media' plugin will also let you request movie suggestions.

Plugins and Accesibility

Later on, the tech companies intends to bring more modules to Windows 11 Copilot, similar to the capacity to modify advanced settings, customize the operating system, use reorder and even associate with the third-party apps.

Right now, Windows Copilot is accessible for those on the Windows 11 Dev or Canary channel, yet the usefulness is restricted to Bing.com abilities, flipping the 'Don't Disturb' mode and changing the gadget subject. Microsoft could begin carrying out the new Copilot with Windows 11 23H2, which will come out in a little while this year.
