Bangalore, India: To signal the changing of the times and the shift in personal computing from PCs to mobile devices, Microsoft has unveiled a new logo. Featuring four multi-colored squares and the word "Microsoft" written in the Segoe font used in Windows 8 marketing and communications, Jeff Hansen, General manager of Microsoft brand strategy, said that the new logo represents a "new era for Microsoft". According to Microsoft, this accentuates the purpose of moving towards a unified look and feel across all its products, including Windows 8, Xbox services and Windows phone 8.
