Scanner performed satisfactorily in our speed tests. It took around 12 secs to do a preview scan for the first time and subsequently took 8 secs. While scanning an A4 size color image it took 46 secs for 300 dpi image, 2 mins and 4 secs for 600 dpi and a whole 8 mins for 1200 dpi image. Results were impressive with crisp scans, well-differentiated colors and clear screen images.

The scanner includes other bundled software such as ABBY Fine Reader, Sprint 4 OCR, Ulead Photo Explorer 7.0, and Adobe photo Deluxe 4.

Overall, it is a good buy for small offices and homes.
