This is a PC and Internet surveillance software that captures and records each and every event of your PC when you are not at your desk and someone else tries to use it. It’s a useful monitoring software for homes and offices, as it can capture keystrokes, open websites, applications, popup text, running chat clients like AIM, ICQ or Yahoo chat and its activities with all sent and received messages.
The software is easy to install and works on Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP. It can be set up in standard or invisible mode, wherein it won’t be visible on the desktop. In standard mode, it creates a program icon in the Start Menu. In the invisible mode, you can open it by typing strarrcmd.exe in Start>Run. The software’s interface has six tabs–Dashboard, Monitoring, Settings, E-mail/Network, Activate and About. When the software starts, you will get three buttons for Play, Start, and Reset on the screen under dashboard tab. As the names suggest, they start, stop and create new recordings.

The recorded events are captured in a log file, which can be viewed in various formats including interactive HTML, Excel, Plain text and raw format. You can even configure it to send you periodic reports in zip format on your mail id or save it on a shared location somewhere on your
LAN. You can also set a password for the software and the report files being sent
to your e-mail id.
The Bottom Line. The software is a good choice in both offices and homes for monitoring employees and children.
